Hi! My name is Lisa Pasley and I started Pony Hayvin Ranch because of Love. Only because of Love! I had the pleasure of owning my first pony “Sarah” when I was 5 years old. Some of my best memories growing up were with this pony and all the ponies that I have had the pleasure of being around.
I had the misfortune of being a pre-mature baby at birth and experienced many set-backs while growing up. I am walking proof of a “miracle” of God. I didn’t do well in sports, dance or cheerleading like my sister and so many of my friends, but I was known as the “Horse Menace” because of my love for horses.
Interacting with horses gave me activities unlike anything else. Growing up around these wonderful animals (and now as an adult) convinced me that horse and rider can be BFF’s. Just being around these animals will give you so much joy and contentment.
I would like to share this experience with other children and adult women that have always wanted to learn to ride but have not had the opportunity. Or I welcome that special person that wants to face fears, increase confidence and self-esteem in a natural equine setting.
Some of the ponies we have at Pony Hayvin Ranch have been rescued and were in need of love. I want to give back to these wonderful animals the unconditional Love that they continuously give to me. At the same time I would like to share this relationship with you so you too can experience this same Love that I speak about.
